Are the major stablecoins actually holding their peg right now?
Real-time price data for USDT, USDC, DAI, and FRAX vs. their $1.00 target — pulled live, not a screenshot from some other day.
Why this matters
Depegs rarely happen instantly — they usually show early cracks: a coin trading at $0.995 for hours before a bigger move. USDC dropped to $0.87 for about 48 hours during the March 2023 SVB event before recovering; UST's collapse in May 2022 started with a small, sustained 1-2% drift before the full unwind. A number a fraction of a cent off $1.00 is data, not noise.
Price data from CoinGecko's public API. Green = within 0.5% of peg, amber = 0.5–2%, red = beyond 2%.
