    How the session budget works

Session budget is either equity × cap% or a fixed dollar cap. Logged fills subtract from that budget. Remaining risk is split by attempts still wanted (or used as one shot). Suggested spot notional is risk per attempt ÷ distance% — the quote size where a move of that % to invalidation consumes about that risk. Tighten distance → larger size; wider stop → smaller size.
