Spot Resting Limit Heat Cap Clip Gate
Stack every open Spot buy limit against a max dollar heat budget — see dollars at risk if each fill tags invalidation, used vs leftover heat, and the max notional / base for one more resting clip. Copy the capped ticket, then open Kinetix Trade (Spot) to place, trim, or cancel limits.

How the heat gate works
Each resting Spot buy converts to base size: quote ÷ limit, or the base you enter. Invalidation is either the shared stop or a per-row stop (must sit below the limit). Dollars at risk for that row are base × (limit − invalidation) — the implied heat if the limit fills and price tags the stop. Heat used is the sum across all rows. Leftover heat is budget − used. For one more clip, unit risk is next limit − its invalidation; max base is leftover ÷ unit risk, and max notional is max base × next limit. Ready means leftover ≥ 0; Overheat means resting heat already exceeds the budget — trim or cancel limits on Kinetix Spot before adding more.
