Bitcoin halves its block reward every 210,000 blocks. This page fetches the live current block height and the live average block interval for the current difficulty epoch from mempool.space's public API, then computes blocks-remaining and a time estimate from those real numbers — refreshed every time you load the page.
Block time varies with network hashrate — this ETA is a live estimate, not a guarantee. It will drift as difficulty adjusts.
